Providertech is a growing startup in the healthcare technology digital space. We are excited to post a new opportunity where we are looking for a candidate who will help with our mission to enable healthcare organizations to provide better quality care, outcomes, and experiences for patients and consumers when and where they need it leveraging mobile outreach technologies, artificial intelligence, and our clinical expertise.

The candidate will be responsible for both managing the software engineering team and helping build and maintain the current Providertech products, including back-end services to their client-end counterparts. Primary responsibilities include designing and developing the Providertech product applications and coordinating with the rest of the team to successfully work on the different layers of the infrastructure. Our application stack runs on Azure and leverages Azure SQL, Azure Data Factory, Azure App Services and Functions in addition to other Azure services for security and IAM.

Responsibilities

• Lead on and offshore development teams
• Communicate effectively with both prospects and customers
• Design, build and maintain efficient, reusable and reliable .Net, C# and MVC code
• Ensure the best possible performance, quality and responsiveness of applications
• Help troubleshoot and resolve client issues by applying fixes through our change management process
• Help maintain the current applications
• Provide upgrade, enhancements and break-fix solutions in an accurate, professional manner in a timely fashion
• Identify bottlenecks and bugs and devise solutions to these issues
• Participate in the full development of life cycle, including requirements analysis, design, development, and retirement
• Analyze system performance to ensure it is meeting availability and performance objectives
• Work internal and external teams to create new enhancements as well as troubleshooting and fix issues
• Keeping up-to-date with industry trends and technology developments
• Attend and actively participate in departmental and interdepartmental meetings

Qualifications

• BS Degree
• Experience building and scaling products for SaaS and B2B companies
• Excellent presentation and communication skills
• 10+ years of full stack and SQL server development
• SQL, Visual Studio, Profiler
• Good knowledge of C# ecosystems and .NET framework
• OOP and skill for writing clean, readable, and reusable code
• Design/Architectural patterns, knowledge of different concurrency patterns desired programming language
• Fundamental design principles behind a scalable application
• MS SQL – Standard CRUD Operations, T-SQL, Stored Procedures
• Implementing automated testing with unit tests
• ETL, integrations leveraging Azure Data Factory, HL7 or similar healthcare EDI experience
• Azure Devops experience
• Healthcare or Lab Systems
